Shinjini was involved with theaters for seven years before debuting in Bollywood with Shanghai, which was released in 2011. She acted as the Associate Casting Director in this movie. As an actress, she appeared in some underrated films like Delhi Belly, Peddlers, and I.D. With fluency in both Hindi and English, Shinjini has gained success quite early in her career compared to others.
