Anuj Chaudhary meets Premanand Maharaj, as he visited to Varanasi. He took blessings from maharaj ji and asked one difficult question.
After the Sambhal violence, CO Anuj Chaudhary came into the spotlight – as he was recently promoted to ASP.
Anuj Chaudhary joined the Uttar Pradesh police back in 2012 as a PPS officer via sports quota. He often comes into news for his strict work style & statements.
After his promotion, Anuj Chaudhary visited Vrindavan to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj. He sought maharaj ji’s blessings and asked a difficult question that almost every police officer faces almost everyday.
The question was related to law, justice, and moral responsibility.

Sant Premanand Ji Maharaj often goes viral on social media for his answers to difficult questions. When Anuj Chaudhary meets Premanand Maharaj, Premanand ji gave following reply to Anuj’s question:
There are situations where, for example, a complainant whose son has died says that a certain person killed him, but there is no evidence. The accused says he was not even at the scene of the incident. In such a case, what should be done? If the police let the accused go, they are accused of negligence or bias. In such situations, what should be the police’s moral responsibility?”

Anuj Chaudhary meets Premanand Maharaj, and this was his response:
You are not omniscient to know what is hidden behind the scenes. You should make decisions based only on the resources you have — evidence and investigation. He said that if the accused is innocent yet receiving punishment, it is his prarabdha (destiny) — the result of his past actions. Premanand Maharaj explained that in the present he may be sinless, but if he is punished despite being innocent, it is due to some sin from his past. Once that sin is exhausted, evidence will emerge in his favor, and he will be acquitted.”
