Shakhawat Ali Nobel is a businessman from Bangladeshi, who brutally murdered his wife Raima Islam Shimu (Bangladeshi Actress, Producer, and Journalist) on 17 January 2022. Shakhawat Ali Nobel was born and brought up in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his schooling at New Model High School, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Career 

Shakhawat Ali is a Bangladeshi businessman. 

Controversy 

Shakhawat Ali’s wife, Raima Islam Shimu went missing a few days ago before she was found dead. Her body was found in a sack near a bridge in Dhaka’s Keraniganj. The locals saw her body and informed the police. After the body was recovered, police took Shakhawat Ali Nobel into custody. Along with Shakhawat, his driver has also been taken into custody. 

The Dhaka police in their official statement had cited a family feud as the main reason behind the murder of Raima Islam Shimu. Also, after vigorous grilling for hours, Shakhawat Ali has also confessed to the murder. Dhaka’s Senior Judicial Magistrate Rabeya Begum remanded Shakhawat and his friend Abdullah Farhad for interrogation for 3 days.
