Biography
Shweta was born in Maldiha, Purnea, Bihar. She did her schooling from St. Karen’s High School Gola Road, Danapur in Patna. She did Bachelor of Science from National Institute of Fashion Technology in 2002, and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Art Institute of California San Francisco in 2008. She completed MBA from San Jose State University.

Parents and Siblings
She was born in a Hindu Rajput family to Krishna Kumar Singh and Usha Singh. In 2002, Usha Singh died of brain hemorrhage. She has three sisters; Priyanka Singh, Neetu Singh, and Mitu Singh. Priyanka is a lawyer and Mitu Singh is a cricketer who plays at the state level. She had one brother, the famous Indian actor, Sushant Singh Rajput; who died in 2020.

On 20 June 2007, she got married to Vishal Kirti, and the couple has one son; Nirvanh Kirti, and one daughter; Freyjaa Kirti. Shweta lives in California with her husband and children.
Career
She started her career as a model and a fashion designer. Shweta Singh has worked as a model for various renowned brands. She has worked as a demo analyser with L’Oreal.
Later, she worked on different designations with companies like Celebrity Fashions Limited, Dominique Ansari, Galaxy Jumpers Company, Silicon Tech Services Company, and Silicon Tech Services Company. She has her own nursery school in California.
Shweta Singh’s Campaign for Late Sushant Singh Rajput
After her brother’s mysterious death on 14 June 2020, she started online campaign #GlobalPrayers4SSR. She had a doubt that Rhea Chakraborty and her family members including her brother, Showik Chakraborty had misused Sushant’s money for their own benefit.
In one of her posts on her social media account, she wrote,
SSRians across Australia made it happen. 7 Billboards are up through out the continent which convey the strong message that the whole of Australia is standing with SSR! Are You?
She demanded her brother’s death case get transferred to CBI, she asked people to join the campaign and support her in demanding CBI investigation in Sushant’s case. Later, on 19 August 2020, Sushant’s case was transferred to CBI.
