Ajay commenced his career in Indian cinema as an ‘Assistant Director.’ Ajay worked upon different Bollywood flicks, including ‘Woh Lamhe’ in 2006, ‘Life in a… Metro’ in 2007, and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’ in 2010. Ajay Sharma also worked as an associate editor. He worked for many famous Bollywood movies, including ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ in 2010, The Dirty Picture starring Vidya Balan in 2011, Agneepath in 2012 that starred Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt. As an editor, Ajay Sharma worked on various Bollywood movies like ‘Jashnn: The Music Within’ in 2009, and the same year, he was working as an editor for ‘Tum Mile.’ Ajay Sharma edited other movies like Crook (2010), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 in 2015, 22 Yards in 2018, Ludo in 2020, followed by Indoor Ki Jawani the same year. In 2021, Ajay Sharma worked as an editor for the Bollywood flick Rashmi Rocket starring Taapsee Pannu, Priyanshi Painyuli, and Abhishek Banerjee.
