Renowned singer Monali Thakur recently revealed in an interview that she got married 3 years ago in 2017 to a Swiss-based restaurateur named Maik Richter.
She has been married for 3 years now in 2020, and the wedding took place in India, where a few near and dear ones were invited.
But did you know Maik Richter was thrown out of India for not having a visa back then, just a few hours before his marriage?
Monali Thakur spilled some beans on an interview with a news portal. She revealed that her husband Maik, was chucked out of India. It was Foreign Affairs Ministry and Home Ministry who got Maik back.
Maik received his visa two hours later, though.
Monali even said that this was quite a hilarious incident, and people must make a movie on this event of their wedding.
