Searching for Bollywood movie posters copied from Hollywood? The trend of copying Hollywood songs, films, and dressing is not a new thing in Bollywood. Nowadays, one more trend that follows is Bollywood copying film posters from Hollywood. The Bollywood people don’t even think once before making the exact copy of the Hollywood film posters. Here we will see some of such copy-paste posters of Hindi films.

The first one on the list is Shah Rukh Khan’s robotic film Ra.One where we see him playing the double role. The film came out back in 2011, and much of the money went into its VFX. But the makers forgot to prepare a budget for the poster of the film and went for a copy-paste formula. The poster of the film was an exact copy of Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins from 2005. 

Second on the list under Bollywood movie posters copied from Hollywood is Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer 2010 film Anjaana Anjaani. The makers of the film did not spend much time on even researching Hollywood films which they could copy the poster from. They final poster is a copy of the film An Education that came into theaters a year before Anjaana Anjaani.

Third is the most popular film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara from 2011. Zoya spent a lot of money on foreign locations but when it came to the poster of the film, she just picked the poster of the 2005 Hollywood film Lords Of DogTown and copied it.

Another film of Hrithik Roshan, Kites, whose poster is a copy from Hollywood. It seems the Kites poster flew right from the Hollywood film The Notebook.

Another Bollywood movie posters copied from Hollywood, is the Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Khanna starrer rom com Hulchul. Apart from the actors nothing was different from the original poster of the Hollywood film My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

On the sixth position, is Saif Ali Khan starrer Agent Vinod. The poster of the film is similar to the popular film Johnny English.

Next, is Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Rowdy Rathore’ which was not only a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu, but its poster is also a copy of the film The Replacement Killers.

In the race of copying film posters, Himesh Reshammiya has not lacked behind. His film Xpose is an exact copy of the Hollywood film The Great Gatsby. Not only the script but the poster is a replica of the film.

You will be surprised to know that the famous Hindi film PK’s poster is also a copy of the music album Quim Barreiros which was released in 1973. 

Do you know that Priyanka Chopra’s debut film ‘Aitraaz’ was also a copy of the film The Graduate which was released in 1967.

Not only from Hollywood films, Hindi films have copied posters from Korean films as well. Yes! The Hindi film Phoonk 2 was a copy of the Korean film The Chaser.

The South Indian film which brought laurels to the South Indian film industry was Baahubali: The Beginning which also copied the poster from the film Simon Birch.

Another Hindi filmmaker which forgot to hire a person to make a poster for them was Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? The best thing they did was copying License to Wed’s poster.

The Hindi horror film Bhoot also copied the poster of the film from the English film Final Destination 2.

The Malika Sherawat film Hisss also copied the poster from the film King Arthur which was released 2004.

Even the Hindi film Murder 3 was the copy from Jennifer Body starring Megan Fox. Producers spent lakhs on making the films but still lacked originality.

Another Aamir Khan starrer film which copied the poster was Ghajini. The poster was copied from the Hollywood film The Incredible Hulk. 

The multi starrer film Zero which was expected to make millions failed badly to impress the audience. But what was more disappointing was the poster of the film which was a copy of the French movie titled Un Homme À La Hauteur.

The Hindi film Gulaal did something different from others. The makers moved a step ahead and copied the poster of the web series The Shield – Season 5.

Sanjay Dutt’s film is not far behind in the race of copying the film poster. His film Bhoomi is exactly same from Liam Neeson’s Grey.

Even the Ek Villian film poster is a copy from the Hollywood dance drama ‘Step Up’ (2006). By looking at the poster you can see that how same the posters are.

Not only the latest films, but the 90s film Akele Hum Akele Tum copied the film poster from Sleepless in Seattle starring Tom Hanks and Megan Ryan.

The Emraan Hashmi starrer film Aashiq Banaya Aapne has also copied the poster from the South Korean film titled 3-Iron. 

The Indian film makers even copied the poster of the iconic film Titanic. The Shahid Kapoor film Mausam made the exact copy of the film and only the difference we can notice was the actors and name of the film.

By watching these posters, we can definitely say that sometimes the producers don’t spend much money on creativity. Maybe they get out of money after paying the fees of actors.
