Biography
Sushant Singh Rajput was born on 21 January 1986 and was 34 years (in 2020). He was born in Malidha, Purnea (district of Bihar).
Sushant Singh Rajput completed his schooling from St. Karen’s High School, Patna and Kulachi Hansraj Model School in Delhi. After that, he pursued ‘Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering’ from ‘Delhi Technological University’. Being a bright student, he always performed well in his studies. He secured AIR #7 in AIEEE (2003), though he dropped the college in the third year for chasing his desire for acting. Sushant Singh Rajput attempted for nearly eleven engineering entrance exams and cleared them all.
Sushant Singh Rajput passed the 12th standard. However, he was a mechanical engineering dropout.
He developed an interest in dancing when he was studying at Delhi Technological University (DTU). Sushant Singh Rajput had joined Shiamak Davar dance group. He astounded Shiamak Davar with his dancing skills. Shiamak let Sushant perform as a background dancer at the 51st Filmfare Awards (2005).
In 2006, he went to Australia with the troupe to perform in the opening ceremony of the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Since he was happy with his dance and acting classes, he dropped out of the engineering college. Sushant Singh Rajput had fantastic dancing skills.

Television (2008-2012)
Sushant Singh Rajput attended Barry John’s drama classes when he affirmed his decision to act. Seeing his passion for acting, the casting team of Balaji Telefilms offered him a role in one of their television serials named “Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil.” He played the role of Preet Juneja in this daily soap.
After this TV serial, he was offered another television serial on Zee TV called “Pavitra Rishta.” He played the role of ‘Manav Deshmukh’ in this Zee TV’s popular soap opera (in 2009-2011). Sushant’s award-winning performance in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and it somehow began his journey into the Bollywood. He received awards for ‘best male actor & most popular actor’ for his tremendous performance in Pavitra Rishta.
Sushant Singh appeared in the dance reality show “Zara Nachke Dikha 2.” He was a part of the ‘Mast Kalandar Boys Team.’
