Biography

Qais Khan, an international actor who was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Along with his family, Khan traveled to a lot of places throughout his life. Qais Khan went to Fatima High School in 1999. He graduated from MIHE College (2011). He has lived in many countries in both Asia and Europe. Eventually, he settled in Brussels, Belgium in 2010. As he is a diaspora, he is said to be fluent in seven languages which are English, French, Hindi, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, and Dari. He has always been inclined towards watching movies and acting. But the lack of opportunity and no theatres in Afghanistan made it difficult for him.

Career

Khan is an international actor who first emerged as a theatre artist with the American Stage Director, Alex Murphy. He has worked in many theatre shows, TV shows, and Short Films like Tehran ( Television Show which premiered on Apple TV in 2020), Nur ( Short Film, 2016), The Dead Guy/ERIC COBLE ( directed by Alex Murphy in 2016).

Now he is ready to make his big Bollywood debut with the multi-starrer movie, ‘ Bell Bottom’ in which he is playing a supporting role.

At the age of 20, he made his stage debut with one of the popular American stage directors, Alex Murphy. Qais Khan is a theatre admirer and has worked in many theatre shows. He gained fame with his role in Tehran (2020) and Nur (2016)

Qais Khan did various stage shows like The Dead Guy/Eric Coble ( 2016), Reasons To Be Happy/Neil Labute (2016), Lou Gehrig Did Not Die of Cancer (2017), Your Mother’s Butt/Alan Ball ( 2018), and Gangster Apparel/Richard Vatere (2018). He did some short films as well which included Red Wine (2016), NIGHT 209 (2016), and NUR (2016) which gained him a lot of appreciation. But He rose to fame with his recurring role of M. Ballochi in a television show Tehran ( 2020) which premiered on Apple TV.

He is ready to make his big Bollywood debut with ‘Bell Bottom’ starring Akshay Kumar which is a detective-based feature film in which he would play the role of a government official, Kazini.
He has moved to Mumbai and is ready to explore the opportunities in the Indian Film Industry with ‘Bell Bottom’, a multi-starrer movie in which Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Jacky Bhagnani, and Lara Dutta are playing some major roles.
