Aishwarya Lekshmi is an Indian model and actress who has predominantly been working in Malayalam flicks and Tamil movies. Aishwarya Lekshmi was born and brought up in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. Aishwarya went to Holy Angels ISC school, Trivandrum, and then completed her MBBS degree from Shree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SNIMS), Ernakulam, in 2016. Aishwarya Lekshmi did an internship at the same institute. Currently, Aishwarya Lekshmi is living in Trivandrum and Cochin. Aishwarya Lekshmi is a cousin of ‘Govind Vasantha,’ an Indian composer, singer, and violinist who works in Malayalam and Tamil movies.

Aishwarya Lekshmi is born in a family in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. She has a father and mother in the family and is the only child of her parents.

Aishwarya started her career as a model back in 2014 and made her debut with the movie ‘Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela’ in 2017. Aishwarya Lekshmi appeared in several other films, including Mayanadi (2017), Varathan (2018), Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019), Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu (2019), and Action (2019). Aishwarya Lekshmi even won a few accolades, including ‘Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut-South.’

Aishwarya Lekshmi has appeared on covers of different magazines, Flower World, Salt Studio, Vanitha, and FWD Life. Aishwarya has even done modeling for various brands, like Chemmanur Jewellers, Karikkineth Silks, La Brenda, Ezva Boutique, Akshaya Jewels, Sri Lakshmi Jewellery, and a few more. 

Aishwarya Lekshmi is working on the upcoming action thriller black comedy gangster flick, ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ which also features Dhanush and James Cosmo in the leading role. 

In an interview, when asked about her experience on working with Mani Ratnam for Ponniyin Selvan, she said:

 I’m playing a very sweet character in Ponniyin Selvan. Acting in the film is like a learning experience for me. Everyone is a part of the making of the film. Starting from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to the person who plays a small role, everyone is kept occupied on the sets.” 

About Mayaanadhi, Aishwarya Lekshmi said in an interview: 

I knew that I was working on a very good project,” she says. “The storyline was amazing, and the team was very efficient and talented. It’s a team that Malayalis know so well. There’s National Award-winner Syam Pushkaran and I’ve been addicted to Aashiq sir’s movies. So I knew I was on a good project, but the outcome was up to the audience and god. The extent of the success was a surprise and I’m really happy. It’s been almost 30 days since the film released and people are still talking about it.”

She even said:

They had issues with me modelling itself,” the young actor says. “But they didn’t stop me from doing it. They had their worries. But they knew I would be able to take care of myself. And that if there are things which I cannot take care of, they will be there for me. They don’t tell me this all the time but I know that they will be there for me. Because that trust is there, they will never stop me from doing anything.”

They watched the film and in spite of having bold scenes in the movie or me playing a bold character in the movie, they are okay with it,” says Aishwarya. “They are able to see the bigger picture. It’s a very nice movie and all these things were essential. To be honest, I was really scared about how my parents would take it. I didn’t care about anything else.”
