Actor Karan Mehra Arrested! 

Remember Naitik Singhania from the Indian TV Show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai? Karan Mehra got arrested on 31 May 2021 after his wife, Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against her husband. 

Karan Mehra has got bail now, however, he was arrested at Goregaon Police Station. Nisha and Karan have been at loggerheads for some time. Karan pushed her against the wall, which hurt her head following which she reached out to police to file an FIR registered under section 336 and 337 of IPC. 

Police has filed a complaint against Karan Mehra under Indian Penal Code sections 336 (endangering human life or the personal safety others), 337 (causing hurt by an act which endangers human life), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

About this entire scene, Karan Mehra said:

This is not my nature, be it her bipolar phase, from the last 5-6 years I am living with patience, it gets so difficult as a human for me. Even someone like me has lost his patience. I was suicidal in the month of May and June last year, because that’s how much I was tortured but I gave myself a chance that I have to do this for the child because how much will someone endure.” – Karan Mehra

Karan also said:

I have always had this thing that let it go, I’ll try to handle things, even if it is violence, or whatever, but yes you are scared that she might go say anything or do something and it is so uncertain for me that even I get shaken up. Whether I am supposed to go out and work or manage my house or what am I to do, it gets very hard.” – Karan Mehra
