Manoj Muntashir is the dialogue writer of the 2023 movie Adipurush. The dialogue in the movie has drawn criticism for being overly sarcastic or irreverent and for using contemporary terminology in a historical context. The viewers become outraged after hearing the dialogues such as Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka aur jalegi bhi there, jalegi tere baap ki, teri bua ka bageecha hai kya, and Lanka laga denge… On 18 June 2023, Harnath Singh Yadav, a Rajya Sabha member for the BJP from Uttar Pradesh, linked dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir to Zakir Naik.
