✅ 1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TheCelebBio and all services offered through thecelebbio.com. By using our platform — whether as a reader, client or celebrity — you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use TheCelebBio. If you are commissioning a biography on behalf of a minor, you confirm you have appropriate authority to do so.
✍️ 2. Biography Publishing Services
- One-time payment: All biography publishing fees are one-time payments. Biographies remain published permanently unless removed for violations of these Terms.
- Delivery timeframes: Starter = 48 hours, Standard = 24 hours, Premium = 12 hours. These are targets, not guarantees. We make every effort to meet them.
- Content responsibility: By commissioning a biography, you confirm that all information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Right to decline: TheCelebBio reserves the right to decline biography commissions that are defamatory, inaccurate, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Publication right: TheCelebBio retains the right to publish, promote and share all commissioned biographies on our platform, social media and partner channels.
💛 3. Sponsored Post Plans
- Duration: Sponsored biography plans (1 month, 6 months, 1 year) begin from the date the biography is published.
- Placement: Sponsored placement is subject to availability on the relevant category page. Top placement is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Promotion: Instagram story sharing is included in all sponsored plans and will be fulfilled within the plan period. Specific dates cannot be guaranteed.
- Renewal: Sponsored plans do not auto-renew. You must place a new order to continue sponsorship after the plan expires.
- No refunds on live plans: Once a sponsored biography is live, no refunds are available for the unused portion of the plan period.
💳 4. Payments & Refunds
- Payment processors: Indian payments via Razorpay. International payments via Wise or PayPal. All payments are processed securely by these third parties.
- Currency: Indian prices are in INR. International prices are in USD. Currency conversion is handled by your payment provider.
- Refunds: All fees are non-refundable once work has commenced on your biography. If we fail to deliver the agreed service, a full refund will be issued.
- Billing disputes: Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you have a billing concern. We will review and respond within 48 hours.
- Failed payments: If a payment fails, your order will not be processed. Contact us via WhatsApp to resolve payment issues quickly.
Our refund policy is simple: if we don't deliver what we promised, you get your money back. No questions asked.
✨ 5. Content & Accuracy
- TheCelebBio makes every effort to ensure all published content is accurate, fair and up to date.
- By submitting information for a biography, you confirm it is accurate. We are not liable for inaccuracies in information provided by clients.
- If you discover a factual error in a published biography, contact us and we will review and correct it where appropriate.
- TheCelebBio clearly labels all sponsored and paid content to maintain editorial transparency for readers.
- We reserve the right to edit, update or remove any content that we determine is inaccurate, defamatory or in violation of these Terms.
🔒 6. Intellectual Property
All content on TheCelebBio — including biography text, design, logos, graphics and code — is the property of TheCelebBio and is protected by copyright law.
- You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or republish any content from TheCelebBio without prior written permission.
- Photos and images submitted by clients for biography publication remain the property of the original rights holder. By submitting them, you confirm you have the right to do so.
- The TheCelebBio name, logo and "Know Your Stars" tagline are our trademarks and may not be used without permission.
🚫 7. Prohibited Use
You may not use TheCelebBio to:
- Publish false, misleading or defamatory information about any person or entity
- Infringe any intellectual property rights, including using others' photos without permission
- Engage in fraudulent activity, including submitting false payment information
- Harass, threaten or harm any individual or group
- Attempt to hack, disrupt or damage our platform or servers
- Use our platform to publish content that is illegal in India or any jurisdiction
- Impersonate TheCelebBio, our team, or any other person or entity
Violations will result in immediate removal of content and termination of your account without refund.
🎤 8. Editorial Independence
TheCelebBio maintains strict editorial independence. Clients who commission paid or sponsored biographies do not have editorial control over our platform, other content, or our editorial decisions.
We clearly label all paid and sponsored content. Our readers trust us to be transparent, and we will never compromise that trust.
⚠️ 9. Limitation of Liability
TheCelebBio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or services of any third-party websites linked from our platform.
✏️ 10. Post-Publication Edits
Edits and updates to biographies after publication are not included in the original biography price and are charged separately.
- Minor factual corrections (dates, name spelling) may be made free of charge at our discretion
- Significant content changes, rewrites or additions are charged based on scope — contact us for a quote
- We aim to complete post-publication edits within 48 hours of approval
🚫 11. Termination
TheCelebBio reserves the right to remove any biography, terminate any account, or refuse service to any individual or organisation at our sole discretion, particularly where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, defamation, or violation of these Terms.
In the event of termination due to violations, no refund will be issued for services already rendered.
🔄 12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TheCelebBio after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients via email.
